The information I applied helped me to rid my body of some very annoying issues

I've always been pretty healthy, but I've had some minor problems with "hereditary" skin rashes I thought would never go away. I was also tired all the time, waking up tired, tired in the afternoon, tired in the evenings, despite getting a good amount of sleep.

I read this book which explained gluten sensitivity in a very real way to me, great examples and success stories from people with the same issues as me.

I decided to try it taking myself off gluten. After a few weeks I noticed I was waking up full of energy and I wasn't tired throughout the day or in the evening, I was attentive and had no attention on being tired.

I few months later I noticed my skin hadn't broken out in a while, anywhere on my body, the rash I had for my entire life had gone away.

The book was easy to read and quite enjoyable. I recommend it to anyone with any type of body issue.

    Excellent information!

This book reveals how many people are unknowingly affected by gluten. You don't have to have celiac disease - that's only a small portion of people who cannot tolerate gluten. It's actually an autoimmune disease. Gluten intolerance is creating havoc with a much larger percentage of people than those with celiac disease. This book lists many health conditions that may be affected by gluten. The wonderful thing is that the health conditions can improve or even stop by just eliminating gluten (found in wheat, barley and rye products)! No testing needed. Just substitute other products for the gluten ones for a month and you'll sleep better, think clearer and possibly have many other improvements if gluten does, in fact, affect you. I have had amazing success. This book is fantastic. It's totally believable because the authors are doctors who have a clinic and tell about their successes. Good luck!

    A Must Read for Anyone!

I happened upon this book at the very early stages of finding out about my sensitivity to wheat and gluten. I'm so glad I had this book because I probably would have not taken my test results seriously. The doctors in this book really explain how gluten effects your system and point out the connection between gluten and other prominent diseases. Because of the information in this book I have not cheated and I've never felt better- ever. I gave my son my copy to read after I was done and he too has successfully given up the wheat. I'm hoping a second edition comes out soon!

    This book is incredibly informative!

Unlike other health books, the Gluten Effect is not overwhelming and is extremely easy to read. It also is very informative and educational. I had no idea that gluten could cause so many diverse symptoms yet the authors lay it out so simply that by the end you definitely know what gluten is and want to get tested to find out if you are gluten sensitive. I definitely recommend this book.
