Seeing his intended betrothed under the mistletoe, Robert Wilmot, Viscount Alderton, can't resist stealing a kiss. He's quite surprised to discover her cousin, Isabella Stone, in his arms. And more surprised at how much he enjoyed kissing her.

Unbeknownst to the two, a notorious rake witnessed the kiss and takes it for granted Isabella was a willing participant. The rake's attempted seduction of Isabella becomes the scandal of the Christmas ball.

Alderton will do anything to keep Isabella safe, including marrying her. But can he convince his family, and Isabella, that marriage to him would be the best course? And will Isabella admit her true feelings for the viscount?

Meet the Author

Aileen Fish is a multi-published author under several pen names, with stories ranging from historical to paranormal, or both, and heat levels from sweet to scorching. She is also an avid quilter and auto racing fan who finds there aren't enough hours in a day/week/lifetime to stay up with her "to do" list. There is always another quilt or story begging to steal away attention from the others. When she has a spare moment she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and their families.

*I wish this story has been much longer.. It had so much potential that it was wasted as a novella..

This is a short, sweet Regency with only kisses exchanged and it's suitable for all ages. I would have liked to have seen the hero and heroine fleshed out more and a a less hurried conclusion, but I enjoyed the storey nonetheless.
