Overview

This short story is any neighbours worst nightmare. Do you see curtains twitch as you pass a house in your street? Do you sometimes get the stangest feeling that someone is watching you? Do feel all alone when hanging out the washing. They smile at you over the fence, raise a hand as you take out the garbage, but sometimes things are not always as they seem. Be careful. Neighbour is watching...

Goran Black had a twitch that made his prescription glasses rub the bridge of his nose. It wasn’t a nervous twitch because he had nothing to be nervous about, no - It was more of an excitable twitch, and he could feel the first stirrings of excitement start to sizzle through his body as he pushed his face up hard against the hole he’d drilled in the fence that separated his house from the neighbours.

How well do you know your neighbours?

Meet the Author

I didn't pick up my first book until I was nineteen years old, and having now reached the ripe old age of thirty eight, I think that I've made up for all those lost years by reading every single horror novel I could get my hands on. From Stephen King's IT to The Doll Who Ate His Mother, by Ramsey Campbell.I've devoured them all. I can't get enough. Names of those authors became part of my everyday conversation, Edward Lee, Jack Ketchum, Graham Masterton, Richard Laymon, Robert McCammon, Bentley Little and Lisa Tuttle. It got to a point where I thought that I knew these people personally, and they all left a horrific taste in my mouth. So a year ago I decided to try my hand at writing. What happened was that now I have a number of self published short stories and an 85,000 word manuscript which I'm currently editing along with a head full of many more stories screaming to get out.I've never been one to take things too seriously but I will defend horror to my dying breath. I love reading horror almost as much as writing and hope through constant learning and feedback I can make the genre proud.D.K. Ryan.

With all the many good books on the market, most people would not choose this one. However, if you have a twisted mind and don't mind the "f" word being used over and over and over again, you might like it. I would never recommend it to anyone and I'm sorry it's now on my shelf.

This story is quite twisted. Pretty good but the f-bomb was excessive and didnt add to the story in any way - it actually took away from it. Would be interested in reading more from this author.

Not worth the time it takes to read it.

I think that this is a very good book. Maybe a liitle too much of the f bomb (49 times it is said) but overall very good i hope to see more. :)

I CAN DEAL WITH THE OVERUSE OF THE F WORD BUT THAT WAS NOT THE BIGGEST ISSUE. THE ENDING MADE NO SENSE. WHAT DID THEY DO TO HIM? WHAT ABOUT HER? WHAT HAPPENED? TOTALY DUMB! WILL NOT BOTHER TO READ ANYTHING ELSE BY THIS AUTHOR NOR DO I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE

I don't mind swear words, but to have so many f bombs thrown in the first two pages I gave up and stopped reading.

I dont understand why its such a big deal about the "f" words. Its not the first time people heard it or seen it.

Only 16 pages, but the "f" word is used about 20 times per page! Story is lame and goes no where. This book was free, but wasn't even worth that! Basically a guy who cuts holes in his fence to spy on his neighbor's wife. His own wife and kids don't like it.
