I just love Vincent Hobbes short stories. He really has.the knack for drawing you into these little jewels and leaves you wanting more and more. You always hate when they end but they are so well written that you always take something away with you. Sometimes its a character, or a scene or just an insight to a wonderful storyteller. Thanks

JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE A GOOD SHORT STORY! Vincent Hobbes knows how to tell a story. I received They via one of my ebook newsletters. I receive so many, but this one stood out to me. Mostly because I thought it was from a movie I saw back in the 90's but the cover and the one word seems to call on me. The story is about a family, two brothers and their wives who are on a holiday. Sad part is, they're driving through an awful snowstorm. Visibility is bleak and they're out of gas. So the brothers, Mike and Brian decide to walk to a nearby gas station while the sisters-in-law stay tucked away in their orange Blazer. But the brothers run into trouble: them. The the story takes off. Now because it's a short story, it doesn't run for long,, but its good; a page turner. One to share with others if they like horror but can't take too much of it. Check out Vincent Hobbes' They and he's got other books out there too. I found this one through Amazon, but his work is also available anywhere ebooks are sold, most of them are free! I'm off to the next book! *For this review and others: http://tinyurl.com/z6s485u **Book was free from Sweet Free Books, for an honest review.

Not bad. Typical start of any horror movie or book: car runs out of gas, guys go to get help only to never return.

When i first read this book i was asked what i thought "they" represented and my response was werewolves. You have to read this for yourself and decide what "they" represent.

I really wish there was more to the story. Good story, intense. And then left you hanging there!

I liked this book, despite it not being my style. However, it just kind of ended. I'm guessing the writer ran out of papers. Still worthwhile for a short story.

Could of had more...but then it wouldn't be a short story.

Made me nervous the whole time. I am a very reluctant traveller when it comes to weather, mountains and riding in anything less than an army tank for protection. Who or what were "THEY"? The ending could have been better, but it was a great story.
