I'd suggest it as a bedtime story for a young child. Very odd, somewhat disjointed, makes you say, "Huh?!?!" The style is a bit like a dream where things don't quite make sense. My 7 year old usually chooses to read books recommended for 3rd to 5th grade, but found it very amusing. Should I be disturbed?

I thought this book would have some pictures, but it is 45 pages of story without pictures. I need pictures to help keep my kids' interest.

Fun stories, if a little off beat. 4 year old enjoys listening to them. No pictures, just text. Suggest you give it a try.

how could you not love a mouse whose name is tiddlywink and runs into chocolate clouds!?!?! there are no pictures, but my kids love it anyway. they can use their imaginations to make their own pictures. the stories are so much fun to read and listen to.

This is great for story time. A few little quirks but good overall. Every teacher should get a nook!
