Kathy Brandt has published four mystery novels with NAL/Penguin and has just completed a memoir, A CHECKERED PARACHUTE, co-authored with her son, Max Maddox. She has also published articles on parenting, health, and travel in dozens of national magazines. She taught writing at the University of Colorado for ten years.     Captured my attention from the start, and held it throughout the story. I want to see the next book to see what happens between Sampson and O'Brien next.

    highly recommend

    This is the first book I have read by this author and I loved her. I could not put the book down. Just when you think you figure out "who done it," there is another twist in the story. Real great book!

    Excellent!

    Didn't want to put it down. Wish this wasn't the end of the Hannah Sampson series. WANT MORE!!!!

    Recommended

    Love books with strong characters doing a job they enjoy and are experts in their field. This series provides a new twist by going to the islands and dealing with crimes occurring under water. I have now read two of Kathy Brandt's books and look forward to reading more.
