Overview

WASTED is a new adult, contemporary romance recommended for adult readers due to mature content.

It all started with sex on the beach...the drink, not...you know.

As a bartender, Mason Cambridge often charmed beautiful women who ordered up cocktails on his shift. It was part of his job after all, and he needed the tips-badly.

When Lexi Swafford plopped her pretty little tail down on the bar stool, Mason offered her a drink. He had no idea that he would soon be working with her or that he'd be letting her room with him until her new apartment was ready.

In fact, once Lexi Swafford landed in Creekview, Tennessee, life as Mason Cambridge knew it would cease to exist...because after a night of drinking away the agony of his loneliness, one touch from her would change everything.

WASTED is the first book in the WHISKEY NIGHTS series. Since each book focuses on a different couple, they can be read as stand-alones, but many readers may prefer to read them in order for maximum enjoyment.

I should have paid better attention that it is NOT a stand alone book, now I would have to buy the next one if I want to know what happens, I don't like that!

A amazing book! and easy reader! The book embraced me and hold me in a closed reading! The light humoristic way ,was really a pleasure and most of the time reading with a smile! The author made exelent figures of the two main characters ,but sure for the one of Lexi! I can,t compare this book with others of its kind as this one is unique! the book is fun to read but at the back ground of the text also a huge psychological character! for me of great value and a must read!!! it keeps you facinating till the end!

It is a good story. If you like bad boys who redeem their selves it's a good one for you.

It was an ok read. I would not read it again though. It didn't have as much excitement as other books. It was kind of boring at times. I found myself skipping pages just to finish it.

It was kind of boring and the use of "I's just messing with ya" was irritating. C

I absolutely LOVED this book! The characters were very relate-able and I found my self dreading the end, because I wanted more... Mason seems to be a hard working ladies man.. the love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy. One night while he is working Lexi Swafford walks in and has a seat at the bar, after flirting for a bit, Mason finds out she is his new co-worker. This and the fact she needs a place to stay.. makes for a very interesting story. They have both not been the luckiest in the "relationship" aspect and seem to think the room mate thing can work. But Mason finds something about Lexi irresistible, and she can melt from just his smile, even so there are things neither of them know about each other. Mason is damaged and dealing with some deep stuff and usually finds relief at the bottom of a bottle. It's been a while since he has let anyone in,and while Lexi wants to know his story he wonders if she will still be around once the tale is told? There are some major twists here and there, as well as plenty of LOL moments, as Mason had me lol'ing quite a few times. I found it well written and finished it in no time as I wanted to find out what happened next. I can't wait for the next in the series as it will be about another character from the town, which is awesome because I want to know more about these characters as well. If you like a good read with humor, suspense, and romance then this is one to check out!!
