My opinion about Sharon G. Flake is that she is a good writer. I say this because these 10 short stories are like real situations. Some may be sad, or funny. But the way you gotta look at it is that some teenage girl wants the cute popular boy, and when most girls want a boy bad they do anything to get them. I know girls who will disrespect themselves to get a boy. Most of the times the stories take place at school. Then you girls wanting the bad boy but at the end of trying to get him he dont want that girl. This story will teach ayoung lady a lesson especially if your a girl like one of these girls.I also think most teens will like this book because you can realate it to real life.

I loved this book. The author for me was right on point about all these problems. I can relate to alot of them. Also even if u havent come across a heart ache you will and you should read this book to help you realize the error of your ways. This book taught me that to not let a guy treat me like dirt. I reccommend this book to anybody that has problems in there relationship and needs something to help u realize what to do. I doubt you will be dispointed.

This book is very good. I read within like 2 class periods. I really enjoyed the second short story. If you're looking for a book to read about relationships between boys and girls I'd recommend Who Am I Without Him!

With just getting out of an extended relationship I was looking for some insight to help me through. I didn't find any from this book. The characters in the book were very immature and shouldn't have been in any type of relationship to begin with. I didn't really see the point of the book. It just told stories about girls who had something happen to them with boys involved. The book didn't give any advice or show any light on how to get through break ups or hardships. It was basically a waste of my time to read it. I'm 15 years old and I feel like I'm more mature than the girls in the book that were 17. If you wanting to read this book to find strength to move on, you won't find it here, but if you want to waste your time then this book is for you!

im 16 years old and i've been looking for a book to read about teen life and boys and all that stuff..some of the stories made me mad because of how stupid the boys or girls were acting..but in the end im estatic i read it.in fact i couldnt stop reading it because it was that interesting..so this is a good book for teenagers who wana see real life experiences and how they relate to you and are handled.
