Winter's Passage (Iron Fey Series) [NOOK Book]

Not a book. Like a pamphlet.

Only 30(ish) pages. Not a full book. That was very dissapointing to me. I was expecting a ful book.

Winter's Passage is great and just as good as The Iron King

I just found out about this today. I downloaded it fast and read it just as fast! Winter's Passage is just as good (if not better than The Iron King). Loved it from beginning to end. Can't wait for The Iron Daughter (even more) now! Meghan goes with Ice Prince Ash to Queen Mab as she'd promised. But first they visit Robin Goodfellow, Meghan's best friend. Meghan and Ash are being hunted by something as they head to Ash's home. Meghan and Ash also have to confront their feelings for each other. You have to read this series, it's so GOOD! The cliffhanger is awesome.

After reading The Iron King i wasn't disappointed with Winter's Passage.It starts right where The Iron King left off, it an great addition to the Iron Fey series.

Winter's Passage is jam packed with Ash, i mean action*blush* and surprises.Kagawa creates a new adventure and a glimpse of whats to come next in The Iron Daughter. She is an awesome writer, I love her view of the fey. This story is like 50 pages long*plus a tease* and you still feel the a connection with the characters you loved and get hooked on it! It just had everything The Iron King had minus the anxiety of waiting for The Iron Daughter lol. But I'm definitely satisfied*for now* I love this series!

Great Novella!

Whoa! This eBook novella was hot! First, let me just confess how much I love Ash, he is probably one of my biggest book crushes, and this novella had so much Ash it was going to explode with awesomness.

Okay.now that I got the Ash is hot out of my system, I must say I am so glad Julie Kagawa released this novella to bridge the gap between the Iron King and the Iron Daughter. If I didn't read this, I would feel like I missed out on some major action between books one and two of the Iron Fey series.

This novella takes place immediately after the end of the Iron King and continues the story perfectly. Winter's Passage adds more to the lovely world already create by Julie Kagawa in the Iron King. This book had everything I was expecting after reading Iron King, it had an intriguing plot, action, Ash, romance and just a great story.

While reading Winter's Passage is not essential to the story of the Iron Fey, it is a great book connecting books one and two and will definitely add to the experience of reading the series. Any fan of the Iron King should definitely check out this novella, especially if you want to read lots about Ash!

Terrible Book

I accept that I started reading this series out of sequence and there are some holes in my interpretation. Perhaps my complaints about flat characters and the tedium that is Ash would melt away if I read the first book.

That said the awful writing style is probably the same. I feel like an impatient teen wrote this book. The descriptions are long, winding, and cliche. The action and flow of the story is choppy at best.

The surprise "twist" is both predictable and anti-climatic. I kept waiting thinking that after we settled in the story would be good and that just didn't happen.

I know this is/was a free read and as such isn't a total waste of time, but over all I thought it was a bad book created only to sell you into a mediocre cliche series.

Well does he care how Dawnpelt feels? I feel like no one does! Blackstar or Shadowthorn! No one's letting her make the decisions she wants to make! Just because she's changed her mind doesn't mean she was never loyal or loving towards them!!! I let Jackolyn go because I knew that's what she wanted and that she would be happy with Alex! Worth reading!

This novella takes place between the books Iron King amd Iron Daughter. After returning her brother to his home, Meghan must now uphold her end of the bargin and return with Ash to the winter court. First however, they must shake the mysterious creature that is chasing after them. Again the writing pulls you in to this new world, you can see the ice coating the world and feel the cold, sharp winds cutting the air. Meghan and Ash strugle to come to terms with a bargin both wish did not have to be kept. Kagawa captures this tension and threads it through the story with a light hand. Thhis series is one that gives twilight a run for its money. Move over vamps, the fey have come to town!

A Must Read!!!

I really loved the book Winter's Passage by Julie Kagawa. It maybe short but i liked the fact that you got to find out what Meghan and Ash went through to get to the winter kingdom. I really wished they would have kissed more though. But you know not my book.lol.But really exellent book

Love the series!

I got Winter's Passage as a fee download for my Nook, and I loved it! I have read the other two books since then, and I really can't wait for the next book! The author really draws you into the story and makes you associate with the characters. I especially loved Prince Ash's character, and look forward to February.

Go deeper into the world of Faery with this book!

This is a great little read. I love the back story with Ash and Megan Chase in this book. I love that because I just love the connection I was able to see between this book and the one that directly follows it. There were parts in that book where they made mention of their little mini quest that is the story line of this book so it was nice that I was able to already know what had happended. Like I know the little secret of what happened to Ash and Megan on their journey. Its a great little book!!

Love this series!

Whether as an introduction to the world or another chapter this is a great story. This novella falls in between the 1st and 2nd book in the series.
