Meet the Author

After reading fantasy for many years, we took up the pen and began writing. Our stories are children’s fantasy tales about travel and discovery. These are not the trips advertised in a colorful adventure brochure. These journeys begin by stepping through a secret door into a gnome world, or using a magnifying glass to slip into a picture. Sometimes worlds merge together in mist, or time overlaps in the darkness of a cave.


In the sunlight, our modest home is not nearly as enchanting as the gnome house of our imagination. The maple and dogwoods in our yard do not have secret doors, at least none that we have discovered. Gnomes sitting in the grass amid the dandelions appear to be simple statuary. But when things are bathed in silky moonlight, when clouds gather and add texture to the sky, or at dusk and dawn when stars are like freckles on the heavens, it is then the shadows and light give delightful hints of things that inspire the imagination.


As any writer will tell you, a story is meant to be shared. We hope you enjoy our books.

    Nice version of an old idea

    Yes, it's been done before....the new kid in town has trouble fitting in and takes refuge in books. He then finds a book that transports him to another world. An old idea, but I really like the Larson's version. Toby is a nice, well adjusted kid who finds himself in a difficult situation and gets through it with the help of his friends both old and new. A god lesson for us all. Recommended

    Worlds Within

    It was awesome! Totally read it! I loved every part of it but it could of had just a wee-bit more romance but other than that it was super. I recomend this book from ages according to the comprehension of what it contains. So like from 12-100! I espesially liked Tobys character! Fun cute story and i will definatly be looking at more from this author. I give it ************** stars!
