Meet the Author

Paul Gaboury is the ZBrush Lead 3D Application Engineer for Pixologic, the makers of ZBrush. He helps clients such as Pixar, Disney, Hasbro, Sideshow Collectibles, Weta Workshop, and others incorporate ZBrush in their pipeline and recommends features that will improve their efficiency and the quality of their projects. Paul is an accomplished digital sculptor and also travels the world to demonstrate ZBrush at studios and schools.     As lead Application Engineer for Pixologic, Paul Gaboury knows a thing or two about Zbrush. I knew I would learn some new things in his book, especially the most recent features in the latest Zbrush release, but what I didn't expect were the ideas I got from other industry artists as well. This book makes for a great desk side companion for the digital artist, shedding light on new techniques. It definitely has made me look at the features I don't usually incorporate in my ritual worlkflow, a second glance with renewed interest and better understanding.
