This list is the perfect way to spend your Monday through Saturday, aka, the days in which Euphoria is not playing. In the vein of remembering that I don’t work at Barnes & Noble but at Euphoria’s Barnes & Noble, read these books you *bleeping* *bleep* *bleep*. Thank you very *bleeping* much! *bleep*

Is it because this book goes by the same name? Yes. But is this book also great? Also, yes. From the author of Writers & Lovers, this is a witty novel about three anthropologists caught in love triangle just as juicy as the triangle between Nate, Maddy and Cassie.

Is it because this book also has basically the same title? Again, yes. But also it’s a guide for modern women to find freedom from cravings and fitting into a society where drinking and addiction are part of the lifestyle. A perfect book for Rue & Co., not to mention the cover would fit right in with the brain-melting aesthetic.

Not only does this stunning cover look like it could be a promotional image for our new favorite TV show, but it also has the same sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat-clenching-your-wine-glass-and-Doritos-bag-to-your-chest vibes. It’s a psychological thriller that is The Haunting of Hill House meets Get Out.
Even though Angus Cloud has stated he will “never” play Mac Miller in a biopic, a girl can still dream. Dreams that are mostly spent on a Cloud … Not only is his character Fezco a fan favorite but he has also become the internet’s (and mine, clearly) new boyfriend. But he may already be taken by Lexi and for now, we can live with that. As Cloud tweeted, “We need more Fexi content, give the fans what they want”. Yes, Angus, give the fans what they want.
This book is giving serious Euphoria vibes. It is told in verse so it will be a quicker read so as not to get in the way of you rewatching every scene with Lexi because she is the real queen of the show, keeping all these crazy kids together. Muted has the same sparkles that cover up the monsters being muted.

This one is dedicated to Jules/Hunter Schafer who shines both on and off the screen. This book is all about self-expression and self-acceptance of identity while discovering new communities. It is the perfect coming-of-age story for all.

Similar to the black hole every viewer goes into every time Cal Jacobs takes the screen and you feel like you might just commit violence against his person. This graphic novel is about a strange plague that infects teenagers as they tumble through high school and its savagery, cruelty, relentless anxiety and ongoing longing for escape. Throw in some glitter and hip music and that basically describes Euphoria.
This is McKay-level reading, as in it’s Euphoria at the college level. It dives into power and desire with a provocative and bold new angle, which are all the themes that make us obsessed with the show. Think the East Highland crew but with a high school degree.

We love this book for much of the same reasons we love Euphoria. Number one being the aesthetic (just look at that cover). Followed closely behind is the band of unlikely heroes we can’t help but root for (looking at you, Rue). Number three is the novel’s way of finding unquenchable light in dark corners.

A story you can read or stream, this is a book that also has a high school that I wish I went to. Lara Jean’s light story is the perfect come down from getting emotionally wrecked in every. single. episode. and is the perfect band aid for your emotional wounds as you wait for your therapist’s next opening when this season’s finale hits.
