It Happened One Autumn
Lillian is a rich American who has not truly accepted English life—she’s a little morw wild, and definitely more outspoken than English gentlemen would prefer. That is, until she meets lifetime bachelor Marcus, Lord Westcliffe. The Devil in Winter
My favorite Kleypas book features Evangeline Jenner, the shyest and most reserved of all the Wallflower friends—and eventually, the wealthiest, when her inheritance comes due. When her relatives try to trap her in a marriage that will only serve their benefit, she approaches the notorious rake, Sebastian, the Viscount St. Vincent, with a marriage proposal. St. Vincent is the darkest and most roguish hero of the series, but sweet Evie causes his heart to thaw. 

Scandal in Spring
Daisy Bowman has spent three seasons looking for a husband, and she must find one, now. If she does not, her father will marry her off to his business partner, Mathew Swift—a man Daisy has always hated. That is, until she gets to know him, and realizes beneath his ruthless exterior is a man with charm and sensuality…a man who could own her heart. If only a terrible secret doesn’t threaten the happiness they find together.
