The Song of the Rose

"Only a love worth dying for is a love worth living for." By this ideal a man and a woman love and live. In a society which outlaws love and makes following one's own heart a crime this causes a fateful collision between the two lovers and that society, forcing the two lovers in following the ideal of their hearts to sign in their own blood a suicide-love pact. The forces of society then comes after them to make them fulfill the terms of their pact, writing a heroic/tragic epic.
