In the shadow of Sunrise, a young boy must prove his worth in a prehistoric world.

Earth Shadow, a young member of the Folsom people, embarks on his first Walk Around, leaving behind the safety of the Circle of Mountains. Handicapped since birth, he faces the challenge of proving himself among the hunters and warriors of his clan. As he journeys across the plains, Earth Shadow gathers stones for tools, learns ancient lore, and prepares for the ultimate test: his first bison hunt.
