About the Author

Kinda Velloza is an Attorney who specializes in Immigration law and Real Estate Closings. She was born and raised in Guyana, South America. Kinda moved to the United States in 2009 with aspirations of becoming a lawyer. Within her first eight years of living in the United States, she obtained both her BS in Criminal Justice and her MS in Public Administration while graduating cum laude from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. Kind a graduated with both degrees at the same time after participating in her college's accelerated BS/MPA dual Degree Program.

After completion of her graduate and undergraduate degrees, Kinda immediately enrolled into the Juris Doctorate program at Charlotte School of Law in North Carolina, where she graduated early with her Juris Doctor degree and pro bono honors. She then moved to Georgia where she sat and passed the Bar exam on her first try. Aside from her professional accomplishments, Kinda is. now dedicated to helping those in need, funds an annual scholarship at her high school back in her hometown and spends her time mentoring young women interested in entering the practice of law.

She now proudly calls Atlanta home and when not litigating in court and closing real estate deals, she hits the tennis courts or spends quality time with her teenage son Kiand.
