I purchased and worked through this book first before buying the AAPC's copyrighted practice test. I purchased all three of these practice exams. THE GOOD: This book gives you a good idea of what is being tested. Unlike the $1500 online courses out there, this book directs students to the CPT Professional Edition. WHY STUDENTS NEED THIS BOOK: Unlike the Step by Step Buck series, students don't have to pay to get the answers/rationale to the practice questions. Also AAPC only has one version.
