Once again prolific author Deborah Smith Pegues has written a timely and timeless book, 30 Days To Taming Worry And Anxiety. When stressed, reading a book about taming worry and anxiety may seem like yet another stressor. However Pegues’ talented writing style, ability to capture and relay pithy truths and put them in daily, digestible doses is extremely helpful. In 30 short chapters, each three to four pages in length and meant to be read daily, Pegues identifies common causes of worry and anxiety (knowing is half the battle). Each chapter begins with a relevant Bible verse and then goes on to provide practical solutions for taming one’s worry and anxiety, closing with a simple prayer. I cannot recommend this power-packed book highly enough. Sincerely, Meredith R. Sheppard
