Overview

Produced in Nashville by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell), 4 is the aptly named fourth long-player from Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. The bulk of the album was recorded live in the studio over a ten-day period, resulting in a raw and spirited set that evokes the concert LPs of hard rock legends like Aerosmith, the Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin. Featuring the rousing single "The River Is Rising," 4 is the first official release from the newly minted BMG imprint Gibson Records.
