About the Author

Ken Friedman was born and raised in New York City. Following four years in the Navy, he attended the University of Florida and then back to New York and eventually on the staff of the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and out to Los Angeles to work on the Bob Newhart Specials, Dean Martin Roasts, Monsanto Specials amongst others. His play Claptrap was presented by Robert Brustein at the A.R.T. in 1986 and the Manhattan Theatre Club in 1987 and continues to be produced in the United States and abroad. 60 For You is the first of his four books for actors and actresses, the others being “35 For Two, Comedy Scenes,” “Relationships, Monologues and Scenes” and “Friedman Rides Again. Four Short Comedies” all published by Wagon Press.
