A beautiful love story. Ella and Tristan are drawn to each other. Neither has the time or the inclination to act on their attraction. Tristan can help himself and is soon caught up in Ella's life. Love the characters. Thomas is so cute. A beautifully written story with a HEA.

A heartbreaking and heartwarming love story. A Romance story you don’t want to put down. A quick read and a special Christmas Miracle who could ask for better. A Bleak December was a roller coaster of emotions, it made me laugh , it made me cry. It made you want a man like Tristan. Who wouldn’t want man like Him so perfect and caring yet a boss who is a firm authoritarian in the office. A man who pulled Ella to her feet and help her cope when she didn’t know how. Ella is a Women after my own heart, the women who wants to make everything perfect for her little brother Thomas. A women who endeavors to keep a promise to her dying mom to take care of her brother. Thomas, Ella’s little brother who is so vivacious and energetic who never misses a beat, so very precious. Then last but not least Tia the uncaring Sister who didn’t give a damn to anyone else but herself. This is my first read from Hanleigh Bradley. She really left me wanting to read more of her works. Her writing just pulls you into the story and you want to read from beginning to end without hesitation. I can’t wait to read her other books. This book was giving to me by author as a Arc read.

A Bleak December is a short quick read but it's packed with emotion. Ella has some serious stuff going on at home and she's late for work a lot. She had me laughing with her funny excuses for being late. Tristan is her boss and he knows her reasons are fake and wants to find what the real reason she's late is. Tristan is a tough boss but a nice guy. He likes Ella more than just as an employee. Ella has a lot on her plate with her mother and brother but Tristan finds a way into her life. If you're looking for a good quick read to fill in some time then you should check this one out.

Do yourself a favor and grab this book and read it. I am a sucker for emotional reads that make the characters seem so much more human because things like this happen in real life. This book touched my heart and it is a story that will remain with you for quite some time. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.
