A Cur for Death

Detective Arthur Caol does not believe the supernatural manifests itself on the earth. So, when he is told a stone he has found belongs to an ancient death god, Arthur only thinks of finding more artifacts to make a quick buck. When he is later confronted with a story about a vampire attack, he dismisses it. He is certain some logical explanation must exist. But as the night grows old, Arthur finds it harder and harder to deny that something beyond logic and science is taking place.
