A very sweet romantic story between newcomer Parker the contractor which has a job to remodel Sarah family restaurant. At first, I thought this will be one of those boring books with not a lot of happening but the more had story developed the better it becomes. Both Sarah and Parker are a likable character and well developed, and I shouldn't forget the mutt. Parker is really a good guy with a great heart also Sara is great. They fell really quick for each other but they are happening a lot of mysterious things someone is after them. great lovely story. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

So nice to be back in Pride. I love that we still get to check in with the people we fell in love with in the Pride series, but now it’s the next gen’s turns. These new characters are all wonderful and I already know I am going to be just as hooked on their stories. Just like the original series, this story has oodles of charm and romance. It’s a little bit sweet, a little bit sexy and whole lot of entertaining. Sara is a sweetheart, I just love her. She is Todd & Megan’s daughter and is now her Uncle Iian is giving her the chance to run the Golden Oar. However it needs a lot of updating, so in walks Parker. He is sexy and charming and the carpenter her uncle hires to do the work on the building. I love their back and forth and everything in between. They have fantastic chemistry that carries them so well both in and out of the bedroom. They are fun and sexy together. I love them as a couple and I was rooting for their HEA so hard! There is a whole lot happening during this renovation besides what is happening between Sara and Parker that makes for a pretty exciting mystery of sorts. I really enjoyed this whole story from cover to cover!

This was a well-written, entertaining contemporary romance. Sara is given the chance to run the family restaurant and prove herself. She is not expecting Parker, a gorgeous carpenter hired to remodel the restaurant. Neither of them expects to discover themselves so attracted to each other. Things get dangerous when mysterious accidents start happening at the restaurant, and they team up to figure out what is going on. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.

Sweetly sexy, charming, fun, exciting and emotional romantic adventure with a twist of mystery thrown in. Loved coming back to Pride in this highly entertaining journey. Sara Jordan is sweet, sexy and finally has the chance to run The Golden Oar that she has longed for. Parker is a charming, strong and the sexy know it all carpenter that was hired by Sara's uncle to update the old building. Sparks fly and tempers flair as accidents start to happen on the job site. Real page turner from beginning to end. Can not wait to revisit Pride again.

It is so good to catch up with some of the citizens of Pride. I really like Sara and Parker. Parker has gone through so much in his life and he thinks things might be settling down. Then he literally runs into Sara and the grocery store. Sara and Parker hit is off immediately, but there is trouble. Is it because of someone is Sara's or Parker's past. As they try to figure out who is causing all the trouble, they grow closer. I like the little surprise at the end.
