About the Author

Lon Chesnutt spent his career as a United Methodist minister. He started first as a campus chaplain in Atlanta, GA; and then pastored churches in the Baltimore/Washington area for thirty years. Since retirement, his involvement in ministry has continued through teaching, inner city projects, and social groups advocating diversity, personal involvement, and justice. He and his wife, Evelyn, live in Charlestown Retirement Community, Catonsville, Maryland.
