About the Author

Mona Brown Ketner is the mother of two grown children, Adam and Amanda. She is a member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she enjoys mission work and playing the flute. Mona is a nurse. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. She holds the position of Perinatal Outreach Coordinator at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem.
