About the Author

Dr Zulyani Hidayah was born in Bukittinggi in 1956. He finished his doctorate in Anthropology at Universitas Indonesia in 2002. He then worked for  the Ministry of Tourism and Culture before moving to the Ministry of Technology and Research of Indonesia. During his lifetime, he conducted numerous research projects and sociocultural fieldwork activities. He participated in numerous seminars as a keynote speaker, guiding and counseling cultural programs of in many parts of Indonesia.
