About the Author

Thurman is a teacher, bodyworker, author, activist. She practices and teaches Reflexology for the Spirit, Reiki therapy, companion animal massage therapy.

Thurman works out of her healing space which is located beside a beautiful stream in downtown Woodstock, New York.

Thurman has two daughters, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She has been married to the same man for over forty years. She can be seen walking her three Chihuahuas at the Woodstock Dog Park daily, weather permitting.
