I enjoyed reading this book. Hope you do too.
A great collection of novellas by Angie Fox. This a collection of short stories from both the Biker Witches series and the Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries series. This is a wonderful taste of the aforementioned series as well as a great way for new readers of the author to discover the marvelous tales of these characters.
Angie Fox has done it again! "A Little Night Magic" is a delightful collection of a sampling of her best story collections. The collection starts with "A Ghostly Gift". It is another adventure with everyone's favorite ghost hunter Verity and her ghostly side-kick Frankie Valentine, a deceased gangster she accidentally trapped on the earthly plane. The ghost hunting duo helps Verity's sister's friend who has unwelcome and other worldly visitors in her resale shop. In the holiday tale "Ghost of a Chance" Verity and Frankie assist the ghost of a Union Civil War Soldier by infiltrating Verity's former fiance's (whose relationship didn't end well) Holiday party so he can win his hearts desire. "Gentleman Prefer Voodoo" is a new series for me and I cannot wait to read more about Voodoo Queen Amie and her interesting familiar. In this tale, Amie is looking for love and takes rather drastic measures to obtain her hearts desire, with surprising and unexpected results. "I Brake for Biker Witches" is a fun visit with my favorite demon-slayer Lizzie and her Biker Witch coven/family (and of course her talking dog Pirate). The witches get invited to a biker bar inhabited with passed on bikers and long lost coven members to help them deal with an evil presence at their hangout. "Date with a Demon Slayer" joins Lizzie, Dimitri and the Biker witches for Lizzie and Dimitri's first wedding anniversary at an old yet cozy inn. Well, their anniversary date doesn't turn out the way they expected it to and honestly, we didn't really expect it to be normal either. The final tale in this collection is one of my favorites "Some Like it Hexed". Lizzie joins the Biker witches at a local retirement home for a Halloween Party. As well as music and snacks there are party surprises that no one expected. Angie Fox never ceases to entertain with her light hearted tales of magic and mischief. You can never tell where her tales will lead you and each adventure is a delight.
