A Modern Tomboy is a story about two young girls, Rosamund Cunliffe and Irene Ashleigh, who are very different from each other. Rosamund is a beautiful, kind, and intelligent girl, while Irene is a tomboy who loves to climb trees and play with boys. When the two girls are forced to share a room at Sunnyside School, they must learn to get along despite their differences.
