Not a novel. Cute short story.

Short but VERY weak plot! This could have been better with more depth in the story line & characters. Basically it was just dumb!

Very short, clean, story, 40 pgs. Easy mystery to figure out. No violence. The author makes the main character - a health food store owner - seem more like she's in her late 50's ... describes her as older, beginning to turn gray and slowing down. I was startled when she later indicated she's in her early 30's! There are more in the series that I'll try. Hopefully, the main character gets a little more pep!

This was a wonderful short story...clean, no swearing, no sex, no gore - unlike so many others today. Violet is a kind woman who owns her own business and really cares about her customers, so when a sick man enters her store, she freely gives him something to help him feel better. It was hard to figure out who the murderer was, but it was still an enjoyable book. Recommended!

Great story

My only complaint is the store owner being described as old but actually pretty young. Otherwise pretty good for such a short story.
