To look back on my life, I feel as if I'm witnessing the life of someone else.

I see a little girl, trapped in a home full of brokenness, abandonment, and abuse, who I want to rescue with compassion and empathy. I see a teenager who needs a strong warning who then grows into a young woman who is so vile, lost and hateful. That woman is one I can't stand as she stirs up hatred in my heart.
