Sometimes heroes aren't born or made . . . they're resuscitated.

Tom Shepherd, and alienated young man, agrees to sell the Christmas season's hottest toy for three times its price to a desperate buyer. A screwup lands him in the middle of a bone marrow drive for a sick little boy named Christo. As the scene spirals out of his control, the media there turns Tom into a hero, dubbing him "The Good Shepherd," and making Tom an overnight celebrity.
