A String of Pearls is the adventure of a lifetime for Chiquita Costen, born Jule Martha Smith on July 13, 1933. She is the daughter of Jule Benjamin Smith Jr. and Martha Walker Ligon. He father became a Diplomat for the State Department which in turn made Chiquita a Diplobrat. Her world-wide travels culminated with adventure, education, sprinkled with a little espionage and danger but also full of love and knowledge.
