I first learned about this author and read his short story entitled The Hunt. I loved that short story and became a fan. I down loaded this short story as well and it did not disappoint. The story is written well with the key components of telling a story in a short period of time yet causes the reader to ask question and hope there is a follow up story to answer those questions created by intrigue. This is a great book for middle school children and I'm sure they will want to read more works by Ben Woodard.
