The Civil War tore the United States apart and many friendships and families as well. A World Such as Heaven Intended by Amanda Lauer was easy to read and brought characters to life very vividly. From a historical viewpoint, it was easy to see what soldiers from both Union and Confederate armies went through mentally as well as physically. I would recommend this book for an excellent read.
