While millions of people flock to these areas every year, many are unaware of the disregarded buildings that sit just a few blocks away. Forts that were used to protect the city during the 1800s are now forgotten. Huge industrial buildings that were once vital parts of Baltimore’s economy sit vacant with no purpose.
