Abiding Ink by Ranae Rose

Tyler DeHaven may look like a bad boy, but there's got to be more to the tattoo artist who volunteers at the hospital during the holiday season. Inviting him to a work Christmas party seems innocent enough ... at first. Problem is, he's just as irresistible as he looks and falling fast is more than Mallory bargained for. After all, she's reminded every day what a gamble love can be, and there's no question that with him, the stakes are high.

It may be cold outside but Mallory Stephens is the hottest nurse Tyler has ever laid eyes on. To top it off, she also likes ink and wants him to be her holiday party date. He's not going to say no, and when things get rocky, he's not going to let their passion frost over, either.

Can a brand-new romance survive the chill as snow falls in the Steel City?

Book 4 in the Inked in the Steel City Series.

T his wasnt a bad story. I just felt like there could have been more to it. More detail into there personalities...more about thier relationship with eachothet and less about thier families. I sometimes felt like i was reading in monotone. I did like the characters just thought something was missing.

Tyler has ink. Lots of ink. So people assume he is a “bad boy” but looks can be deceiving.  Tyler has a heart of gold.  He is volunteering at the hospital so his little sister has a ride there when she goes to volunteer for class credit.  He meets Mallory there as she is a nurse.  You often read or watch a movie where the characters “just know” from the moment they meet.  I don’t know if Tyler and Mallory felt it but I did.  Although this is the fourth in the Inked in the Steel City series it can be read stand-alone.  I adored these two characters.  Tyler and Mallory sizzle on the page.  Though this story takes place over Christmas and New Years I can guarantee you won’t feel the cold.

It was OK, but did not really have anything exciting along the way. The characters were quite plain and the storyline flat and without much excitement. The series started really well, but the stories are losing originality as more books come along. Won't be buying any more.

Tyler and Mallory are great together. As a nurse I wish I could bump into a volunteer like him.

This wasnt a bad book, i did like it. However, i expected more considering how her other books are. Could have been better.

This was a good story but I wash the author would have explored Tyler's and Mallory's story deeper. There were alot of unfinshed endings to the other characters such as Mallory's mother and Tyler's brother. I hope she address these issues in her future books. This book was my least favorite of the series but the Hot Ink series are a very pleasent read.

Loved it.

This 4th book in the series wasn't as good as the first three. It felt like the author was rushing to write it and it didn't flow like the others.
