Enjoyed this book a lot. Perfect mix of romance and action. I would recommend Abilene Gambler as a good summer read.

Years ago, I read a lot of historical romance, then moved on to other genres. But when I heard that bestselling author Maggie Sefton had made this available, I had to try it. What a wonderful blast from my past. Cowboys, steamy chemistry, vivid characters, especially Samantha, who you can't help rooting for. I was lost in a gone-bye era. I certainly hope there will be more!

I think this is well written, interesting, and very entertainining. Many of these type books arent. Good plot too. Can you tell I'm from Texas? new to Nook (since Christmas), most books of this type are either boring, poorly written and too much intimacy - this was well done. Tell Maggie to keep up the good work!

For me, this was hard to finish. But, saying that, I love reading Historical Christian fiction and this is not. It was very hard for me to believe what was going on with this woman. I wouldn't want to spoil anything for readers so I'll stop with that.
