This was the first book of Jayne Ann Krentz that I read & was immediately hooked. The characters are very likable & the story while just enough 'out there' to be interesting but not totally unbelievable. I love this book & have it in hardcover but don't want to carry it around. So I also bought the Nook version so I can read it again & again. Love Jayne's books-whichever name she's writting under.

I just finished this one, loved it. Couldn't wait to get to the end and see what happened. There was a touch of the paranormal, as there is in many of her books. Charming characters, fun, humor, danger, murder, dysfunction and more. Poor Molly has her work cut out for her when she meets Harry, the 'logical' consultant she hires for her foundation. But she fast learns there's much more to him than she thought, and he's finding that they might be better suited for each other than he guessed. Toss in the hilarious and varied members of his family and you couldn't love a plot more (plus the very sweet and surprising ending. Great characters, great storyline, wonderful read.

: contemporary-romance, magic, suspense, relationships, attempted-murder, inventions, reread, murder Read from July 24, 1997 to July 24, 2016 I love this one so much that I reread it every so often just to clear my mind. See publisher's blurb for plot clues. Molly is in awe of Harry's brain power, thinks he's hot, and is totally exasperated by his attitude towards aspiring inventors. Harry is a super-educated control freak with warring families and who adamantly denies that he has any paranormal abilities. Toss in some old and new murders and attempted murders, crazy family dynamics, former lovers, and hot erotica, and you have a fun but suspenseful romantic read!

Good book with interesting characters; I especially like all the family dynamics. The villain was easy to figure out, but it was still a pleasant read. I enjoyed this as I was reading it, but quickly forgot about it when I was done.

I had already read this book in print, and when it was on sale for my nook I had to buy it. Just one of my favorite Jayne Ann Krentz stories. I like both the female and the male leads. The families are fun too. So if you want a nice romance, with a little mystery, check this one out!
