Accidental Bridegroom by Ann Major was original published by Harlequin’s Desire series. I originally read the book back in 1994 when it was first released as a part of the Man of the Month series. I loved Accidental Bridegroom today as much as I did when I first read it. I love reading about good strong characters and Ms. Major definitely delivered. Rafe, a bodyguard, is charged to protect Cathy. One night changes them and six years later Rafe discovers her secret. Of course, there is a lot going on and does a spell play into it? It was interesting to learn about Mexico’s take on our Halloween tradition – Day of the Dead (El Dia de los Muertos). If you love reading a book about second chances, love, betrayal, and misunderstanding then Accidental Bridegroom is that book for you. I’d like to disclose that I voluntarily read and honestly reviewed this book.

Good read. Steam and story. With drama, betrayal and love. Knew how it would end but worth the time spent.

ACCIDENTAL BRIDEGROOM by Ann Major a standalone book. I haven't read books by her, and she is a refreshing author, among the hundreds we have now to chose from. The wit, and description, rather of person, or place seem so real. From the beginning you were part of the world / story that she was telling. The description of Rafe and Cathy is so vivid, you can see why the sparks flew. It continues with 6 years later, a 6 year old girl is the replica of her mother, not only in looks but, temperament. Do believe Cathy is still a handful also, thinking of a love portion. Just before she is to marry someone family approves of. And on THE DAY OF THE DEAD. .A witty, enjoyable read. Looking forward to another book by her. Given a voluntary review, of which is my honest opinion.
