and with six saintly souls who were particularly devoted to her:
St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. John Paul II, Fr. Andrew Apostoli, and the Three Shepherd
Children to whom Mary appeared in 1917!
In these spiritually-rich pages, award-winning Catholic author Donna-Marie Cooper O’Boyle brings you powerful prayers and readings guaranteed to shield you from the annual holiday sales frenzy that, during the holy season of Advent, distracts even sincere believers from preparation for the coming of the Christ Child.
These wise pages are sure to draw you closer to Our Lady of Fatima and her gracious messages of peace and hope. For these Advent prayers and readings are all rooted in Mary’s 1917 messages to Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia (the three young Fatima visionaries); and in the personal Fatima devotions of three of our holy contemporaries, St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. John Paul II, and the late Fr. Andrew Apostoli.
Reflecting on Advent through their lives and words, you will also learn:
• The prayers of adoration the Angel taught Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia
• What Fr. Andrew considered the most important of Our Lady’s Fatima requests
• How St. John Paul II fulfilled the Third Secret of Fatima — and why he credits Our Lady with saving his life!
• How, in his final months, Fr. Andrew radically fulfilled Our Lady’s Fatima requests
• The role Mother Teresa secretly played in the consecration of Russia
• Why, particularly in Advent, you must pray for Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart to triumph
• And much more to help you grow closer to Our Lady and keep your Advent frenzy-free.
With the sure guidance of Our Lady of Fatima and these six saintly souls who loved her intensely, the frustrations of our modern Christmas seasons will soon melt away. Advent will become for you a period of expectant waiting and a time of joy and hope, as you experience within you an ever-growing desire for the coming celebration of the birth of Jesus.

I am always excited about Advent, but even more so this year because I have a special devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, and this book combines two of my favorite things! The book is divided into 4 weekly sections, and during each week, there are daily readings and reflections related to Fr. Apostoli, the Fatima shepherd children, St. John Paul, and St. Teresa of Calcutta. Each of the daily sections are a quick 3-5 pages that will help to focus you on the things that really matter during the Advent season as well as help to inspire you and challenge you to live the life that God wishes for you. Donna-Marie is a great writer who also has a special devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, and she’s done a great job with this book – highly recommend!
Journey through Advent with the always loving and inspiring words of Donna-Marie. She gently urges us to live the messages of Our Lady through readings on Father Andrew Apostoli, Saint John Paul II, Mother Teresa and the three shepherd children of Fatima..We will reach Christmas with renewed hearts of love! I am also going to use parts of the book to help my sixth grade CCD class to enter more deeply into Advent.

"Advent With Our Lady of Fatima" by Donna-Marie Cooper O'Boyle is the best Advent preparation book I've read and followed during my many Advent seasons. During each week you journey with different saintly souls who all had a great devotion to Our Lady of Fatima. Week 1 - HOPE - you journey with the late Father Andrew Apostoli, CFR who will bring hope to your life. Week 2 - PEACE - you'll learn about Fatima's message of consoling Peace from the Shepard Children of Fatima. Week 3 - JOY - you'll study the joyous message of Fatima from Saint John Paul II. Finally, week 4 - LOVE - Saint Mother Teresa and Our Lady of Fatima will teach you about the messages of authentic Love from Fatima. I cannot recommend this book enough. An added bonus is this book is not year specific so it can be used for many Advent seasons. I know I'll use this book again!
If you love Our Lady of Fatima and the message of Fatima, then this book is for you. I find it all to easy to get caught up in the busyness of the Advent season and these short daily reflections help inspire and prepare for Our Savior's birth and keep the focus where it ought to be. The author has succeeded in emphasizing that "Jesus IS the reason for the Season!" She challenges us by reminding us what Our Lady of Fatima requests of us through her messages to the little shepherd children at Fatima..... a message that is ever relevant in our current era - a message of great hope and deep peace which is so much needed amidst the stresses of daily life. .The author challenges us to work hard each day to make a sacrifice, say another prayer, spend more time with Jesus this season. The format of the daily readings are set out simply and are easy to follow. There is a Read, Reflect, Pray and Act paragraph for each day so it is organized in such a way that we are guided along a path which is spiritually enriching, nurturing and motivating. The author includes inspirational words by St John Paul II, St Teresa of Calcutta and Fr Andrew Apostoli, CFR, a Franciscan friar who was a devoted son of Our Lady of Fatima. With just 3-5 pages to read daily, I look forward to hitting the reset button, taking my eyes off social media and prepare my heart and soul through following the advice offered in these worthy and uplifting pages. I look forward to giving a copy of this book to friends and family.
