About the Author

Bill Effinger has authored four books, the first in 1995, titled “Making Crime Pay- How Identity Thieves steal your money” which predicted the pandemic of identity theft so prevalent today. The second was an 80-year retrospective of his life, and the third is titled “When you can’t find a JOB-Create One!” and the fourth: “The Vortex made me do it” a historical and satirical record of Desert Hot Springs California.

Bill has been a guest lecturer on the subject of entrepreneurism at several colleges and universities, among them, Babson and MIT in Boston, Arizona State and National University. Published locally and nationally, Bill has also been a building industry seminar leader in various cities. He created a successful twelve week course for the Greater Boston Building Association entitled “How to Survive, Succeed and Grow in the Building & Contracting Business” and is Publisher/Editor of the San Diego Commercial Real Estate News Newsletter:

Bill resides in San Marcos California with his wife Diana. Together, they have six children, sixteen grand children and eight great-grand children.
