This is the most soulful album by this inspirational group. You can't help but tear up when you feel the deep soul cries of this Aretha sound-alike lead singer...she is a tad better than Aretha because she is unadulterated - coming straight from the Motherland. On "I'll Remember You," you will swear you heard Aretha Franklin's soul in there. The chorus on this song is a throw-back to the Ikettes in the "Soul to Soul" concert, plus a few more choral voices. Music is truly a universal language. Even on the South African songs, language is not a barrier. You are simply drawn to tears with the emotional delivery of this group. On songs like "Akahlulwa Lutho", you are completely overtaken by the bluesy emotional delivery. The cries come deep from the hurt of the injustice of slavery and the ancestral handover of the protections of music. Of course, it comes with a heavy dose of the power of the Holy Spirit sprinkled in. That is the African Spirit indeed. Bono does a cameo on "One". But, you will see that even he, pales in comparison to the real source of all music, the African Spirit. Need I say more ... Buy it now, and while you are at it, buy more for everyone you love.
