Book 2 of the After series—newly revised and expanded, Anna Todd's After fanfiction racked up one billion reads online and captivated readers across the globe. Experience the internet's most talked-about book for yourself from the writer Cosmopolitan called “the biggest literary phenomenon of her generation.”

Tessa has everything to lose. Hardin has nothing to lose...except her. AFTER WE COLLIDED...Life will never be the same. #HESSA

After a tumultuous beginning to their relationship, Tessa and Hardin were on the path to making things work. Tessa knew Hardin could be cruel, but when a bombshell revelation is dropped about the origins of their relationship—and Hardin’s mysterious past—Tessa is beside herself.

Hardin will always be...Hardin. But is he really the deep, thoughtful guy Tessa fell madly in love with despite his angry exterior—or has he been a stranger all along? She wishes she could walk away. It’s just not that easy. Not with the memory of passionate nights spent in his arms. His electric touch. His hungry kisses.

Still, Tessa’s not sure she can endure one more broken promise. She put so much on hold for Hardin—school, friends, her mom, a relationship with a guy who really loved her, and now possibly even a promising new career. She needs to move forward with her life.

Hardin knows he made a mistake, possibly the biggest one of his life. He’s not going down without a fight. But can he change? Will he change...for love?

This story romanticizes abusive relationships!

Wow....I want my money back. I couldn't even finish. I feel tainted by what I have even read so far. If you want to listen to some delusional girl prattle on for pages about how she can't live without a sexist, narcissistic , jealousy driven piece of euro trash that abuses her for nearly as many pages....this is your book. (Or if you are needing another '50 shades' grade piece of soccer mom smut) I think the point I lost it and finally gave up on her growing any common sense was when her "best friend" says that line everyone keeps quoting about Hardin "loving her the only way he can" or some such nonsense. I just regret that the version I bought wasn't a hard copy so I can destroy it the way it should be. Deleting this piece of pathetic trash just doesn't quite have the desired effect.

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money. The series are nothing but a horrible boring cliche. If you really want to know what it is about, read the first chapter of the first book and the last chapter of the last book on wattpad. You don't need to waste more time and beside, It's free on wattpad.

So poorly written. This doesn't deserve the attention at all. It's so poorly written and constructed I can't wrap my head out how people find Todd talented. She's far from it, and I can't believe such atrocity was published. And it romanticizes abusive relationships. Abuse shouldn't be romanticized, period. People die from abusive relationships each year, and now thanks to the wonderful Anna Todd she has all these little girls brainwashed to believe those relationships are okay and desirable. This is utter garbage. Save your money.

So horribly written, repetitive plot, laughable characterization, laughable and ridiculous characters. My rational mind cannot comprehend  how such arocity like this is praised. What has happened to actual good literature? I am absolutely appalled at the people who praise this. I feel so insulted and offended, being a writer myself. This is garbage. I can tell the positive reviews are by 13 year old girls with no idea or form of actual good writing. If you think this author is talented please read J.K Rowling's works, or Stephen King's or John Green's. I struggled so much getting through this series. So cliche and it's obvious it was a Fifty Shades of Grey fanfiction, noticing all the ideas stolen from it. Save your money and time. I wish I did.

This horribly write book is repetitive and cliché. My 6 year old brother could have written a better book. The whole book is literally, they break up then get back together. Hardin then does something to make Tessa angry and they break up again. It's just a repeating process throughout all four books. I would definitely not recommend wasting your money and time on this book.

I heard about this from one of my friends, who was obsessed with it. I decided to give it a go, hearing all the positive things about this series. Honestly, this series is utter garbage. I barely could get through the first, it was so terrible. I didn't think the atrocity could get any worse. The only people who could enjoy this garbage are people with an intellectual capacity of a turd. I could see why it got the attention, Harry Styles is used as the main character. But don't waste your time, save your brain cells.

Terrible. So terrible. Poorly written, laughable characterization, laughable plot, I should also mention cliche as well. Repetitive, oh my god don't even get me started. It starts from when Tessa found about the bet that was made on her virginity. You would think she would dumb H, but she didn't. She stayed with him and the whole story continues in to a repeating of sex solves everything when they fight. This doesn't deserve the recognition. I weep for the brainwashed fangirls praising this awful garbage. But shame on Todd for promoting and normalizing abusive relationships.. It is absolutely sickening. Now enough girls think these types of relationships are normal and happen to everyone, which is so terrifying. Please don't waste your money and most importantly do NOT listen to the good reviews. I am appalled, especially at the parents who let their children read this, and feel sorry for the parents who don't know what their child is reading, because they need to put an end to their child being brainwashed by this woman. The people who praise this is mortifying, and scares me for what our future will look like.

This is a horrible, harmful book that should not be supported. The grammar is atrocious, the plot is flat, and the relationship is abusive.

this book series reminds me of fifth harmony: trashy

Wow.. I am completely mortified thst this book published. Every girls dream to fight with a guy and have him treat you like a piece of meat and make you cry non stop? I guess if youve never been in this situation before, then this book romantic in a twisted way is for you thrill seekers. Its boring and the sex parts are stale. Yeah we get it, your the virgin mary living a fantasy of having a bad boy fall head over heels for your emotional ass. This character called tess is beyond dependent and has no back bone. Confused? How exactly? And What is the plot? Letting go or keep being a door mat? Unhealthy and uncharacteristic. 2.5 stars.

Manipulation. Obsession. Possessiveness. No real connections. Solving every problem with your vagina. Basically the majority of this book.

As purposeless and poorly constructed as the first book. I will not be buying this for my daughter for Christmas, and I will be checking her internet history from now on. Shocking to think she would read this online behind my back at age 13! Todd ought to be ashamed for encouraging them.

A continuation of the worst series I've ever read. This is so repetitive, I can't even fathom how a person could stand it. It continues with more romanticized abuse, and keeps giving false perceptions of what real relationships are. No, you cannot change your abuser, people do not change. Their relationship was not about "love" H was infatuated with Tessa, and so was she with him. They didn't "love" each other. It was lust and obsession. These tweens praising this have no idea what they're talking about. The positive reviews make me gag. Obviously, hopefully people know what Quality over Quantity is, and the amount of people praising this atrocity does not equate to it being good. The storyline is still poor and the editing still looks rushed. They fight and then have sex to solve their problems. Do not waste your money. It does not deserve this praise at all. Parents, please stop your child from being brainwashed by this story.

So horribly written, laughable plot, laughable characterization, I could go on and on. However, the main "story-line": They fight, have sex, break up and it repeats. I wish I was joking but unfortunately I am not. The whole storyline is so laughable. A romanticized abusive relationship where Tessa, the most annoying and obnoxious protagonist I have ever came across, thinks she can fix her abuser. Because everyone is fixable and that's what these young and impressionable girls need! To stay in an abusive relationship no matter how awful it gets! But seriously, this is overall disgusting, and I pity anyone who praises this. Please pick up a real book because this is not real literature.

Here we go again with another poorly constructed storyline along with more evident rushed editing. Such poor writing it made my brain hurt. The relationship displayed is abusive, romanticized to the max. Tessa just continues to be her little whiny and ignorant self. All the characters are so unlikable and selfish. Save your money and skip this. You'll really regret it.

I have read the Wattpad version of this book and now the published version. I truly believe that the editing in the published version was rushed maybe to meet certain deadlines?? If you're a first time reader (did not read the Wattpad version), then you will certainly be very confused by a lot of the conversation in this book. Scenes that are in the Wattpad version were eliminated, but referenced in the published book, so you won't know what the characters are talking about or what happened unless you read the Wattpad version. Also, I feel some very important scenes were cut from the published version that should not have been because they truly represented who the characters are or what they were going through and with scenes either eliminated or rewritten a different way, it really changes my outlook on the whole personifcation of the characters. I just didn't feel like they would have reacted the same way with some of the rewritten versions in the published book. One example is the first big break up, you can understand why it happened in the Wattpad version, but the published version eliminates so much and replaces what happened w/something so minor and trivial, it just makes no sense that a break up occurred at all in my opinion. I do love the overall storyline, but was disappointed with the editing in this book. I will continue to support Anna and hope that the editing has improved and things have been thought out better in the rest of this series.

This was so repetitive, cliche, and just awful. Also, too much unnecessary drama. It's so poorly written, it's laughable. It's sincerely appalling how this series is getting so much praise when it doesn't deserve it. The abuse being glorified is also appalling, especially because the demographic for this series are very young impressionable girls. Please don't buy this, or for your child.

A poor inexcuse for literaure. Continuing with a dragged out plot, where they fight and have sex because everything solves problems with sex. The editing was evidently rushed, and remains poor. This doesn't deserve the praise at all. All the people praising it are young girls with no sense. This features more glorification of an abusive relationship, which I find atrocious. The whole storyline is beyond laughable. Save your money.

Horrible. Horribly written and cliched, romanticizes abusive relationships, don't even waste your time.

So laughable and repetitive. Please save your money and time because I wish I did. Overall so poor and repetitive. Unlikable characters and zero originality. Domestic violence is highly glorified.

This was a great book. I continued to read the entire series but I have to say there was way too much drama on pretty much every page. At times it was overwhelming and I had to put the book down and pick it back up the next day. I love reading books with lots of drama but it just kept coming in this book. As soon as I felt relieved and something good was going to happen I turned the page and there was more drama. If you love lots of drama then this is the book for you.

Just atrocious. The storyline is poorly executed, and the editing was very rushed. The lack of grammar is appalling, and the abuse that's being glorified is disgusting. I also noticed it's so cliched. Please save your money.

I can't comprehend with my rational mind how an atrocious series like this was published. The writing is completely awful, and the plot is so poorly executed. The romanticization of abuse is also jaw-dropping. It's disgusting. I hope parents will see what they are buying their children, because this is highly inappropriate.
