Beautifully produced and researched look at the Trojan War Eric Shanower has researched and then produced a spectacular telling of the Iliad and the first part of the Trojan War. As a childhood fan of Greek mythology, it was nice to return to these stories and the album is colourfully and beautifully illustrated. The story is long and, in my opinion, too wordy but it’s all there and will suit those who discover the tale for the first time. Another gripe would be that the characters, for reasonable reasons, look very similar and I’d like to have seen more facial expressions. However I enjoyed my revisit of the Iliad and would certainly recommend this to all lovers of Greek mythology or those who would like to discover it.
