About the Author

Mike Griffiths is an award-winning trainer, consultant, author, and thought leader in agile and project management. He helped create the Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM) agile method and has been using agile methods, including Scrum and Extreme Programming (XP) for over twenty-five years. He has served on the board of directors for the Agile Alliance and the Agile Project Leadership Network (APLN).
Mike cofounded the Project Management Institute (PMI) Agile Community of Practice and helped to create the PMI-ACP® certification and exam. He led the writing team for PMI’s Agile Practice Guide and cowrote the Software Extension to A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). He has contributed to several editions of the PMBOK® Guide and was colead on the PMBOK® Guide, Seventh Edition.
