AHSAN I AM tells the story of a young man as he lives through a newly partitioned Pakistan, the collapse of his family at an early age and finally settling in the United States. Throughout his story, music has played a role. Influenced by Rock and Roll, he puts together a band, The Panthers, to do two recordings for EMI with East Goes West becoming one of the priciest record to come out of Pakistan.
