Airline Operations and Scheduling
Aimed at graduate and undergraduate students in business, management, transportation and engineering, this text introduces the central issues of airline operations and schedules and reviews various optimization models in practice. Each model is accompanied by case studies. Bazargan (productions/operations management and research, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical U.) notes that the best use of the text is to group students into small teams and have them assume the role of operations managers to create their own airline, with all its attendant problems.
