This book is about a woman born to a man that physically and mentally abused her, her whole life.  The abuse that he did to her, gave her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephew, and even children, permission to treat her the way he did.  Her life was hard, but out of all that she suffered, she still laughed, loved and lived, and wasn't afraid to do so.
