Alice in Wonderland: The 1898 British Theatrical Adaptation

Originally published as part of Samuel French's "Fairy and Home Plays" series, this adaptation for the longest time was one of only a few Alice plays licensed to theatres and schools. Originally published in 1898, the play continued to be produced for the next five decades. It remains a charming Victorian adaptation retaining much of Carroll's original.
